Post-Art: encouraging 2SLGBTQI youth to explore consent through creating

In previous phases of Speak OUT, we conducted a National Survey on 2SLGBTQI youth dating experiences and hosted a Hackathon which brought together community members and service providers to brainstorm a project that could meet the needs of 2SLGBTQI youth (14-29). We are now excited to announce the outcome of these efforts: Post-Art: An Art Journey Through the Mail.
Post-Art is a program that uses an arts-based format to reflect on the themes of consent and healthy relationships. Each participant will be mailed a package of art supplies and links to videos featuring our guest artists who will invite them to reflect on three themes: Self, Land, Community. At the end of the project, participants will have the opportunity to submit pictures of their work to be anonymously showcased in a digital zine.
Post-Art will take place over the week of August 22, 2022.
